The Good Girl

In my continuing quest to see all of Zooey Deschanel’s back catalogue that I’ve missed until now (nearly there), today I got my hands on The Good Girl. It’s a decent film. The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford

Set in 1880s Midwestern America and filmed in the prairies of Alberta, this is a really beautifully shot film. At 2hrs 40mins, its running time and sedate pace will put off some people but I found it captivating. (read more…)
