US Open 2008 – Day 2

Another early morning rise in Manhattan and a subway trip to Queens. It was Tuesday in the first week of the 2008 US Open and with my camera battery fully charged for a change, I was determined to see as many full matches as I could. I ended up leaving at about 9:30pm. (read more…)

US Open 2008 – Day 1

The US Open is probably my favourite tennis grand slam event so I was pretty excited this morning to be heading to the opening day of the tournament. I had a grounds ticket for the day session which meant I could come and go as I pleased around any of the courts except for the Arthur Ashe Stadium. (read more…)

Capilano Suspension Bridge

I headed to North Vancouver today with a toy baby doll in my bag and went to see the Capilano Suspension Bridge. It’s pretty nice and interesting etc. but it gets quite boring after a few minutes and really isn’t worth the admission price. (read more…)
