Aintree Grand National
One of the great spectacles in sport happens today - the English Grand National at Aintree Racecourse. A lot of people mistakenly think that the race is a bit of a lottery, what with having 40 horses in it but that’s not the case. Every year there can be many horses who can be pretty confidently ruled out to narrow down the field and this year is no exception. (read more…)

April Fools’ Day
I caught a couple of fish over on Letsbet.ie when I posted a fake article from the Racing Post which said that the famous Grand National race this coming Saturday was in danger of becoming a four and a half mile flat race!
