Vantage Point

Haha, what an embarrassingly pathetic film this is. Really, really awful. I don’t know what actors like Forest Whitaker, Eduardo Noriega and William Hurt are doing signing up for this crap.

The film attempts an interesting narrative technique where the audience are shown the same event from the points of view of various different characters, each time being given a bit more of the puzzle. But it just doesn’t work. All character allegiances can be figured out from the outset. It’s boring and predictable.

Vantage Point

The real joke with the film is the last act when all the strands come together for the final melee. It’s such an unbelievably contrived load of nonsense with so many plot holes that you can only laugh at how amateur it all is. Almost solely for the inadvertent comedy I give it 1 crumb out of 10.
