With season 4 of Lost kicking off tomorrow night, ABC repeated the season 3 finale tonight so I took the chance to watch it again cos it’s just so damn good. (read more…)

Failure To Launch
I knew this was a total chick flick and I knew that it would be rubbish before I watched it but I had to see it because of the lovely Zooey Deschanel. Thankfully it was worth watching for Zooey’s performance. She was the only decent thing in the film and any scene she wasn’t in had me reaching for a pen in order to stab at my eyeballs. Edgewater Casino
Seeing as I’ve booked a trip to Vegas in a couple of weeks I thought I’d get my poker on and so headed into the Edgewater Casino here in Vancouver. I’d been playing a bit online recently after a long break from it but wanted some live action. (read more…)

The Great Debaters
Apparently in the 1930s, black people in the southern US weren’t liked all that much by the whiteys. Hard to believe isn’t it? Thankfully they’ve come a long way since then. They have, right?? The Great Debaters is based on the true story of Wiley College in Texas, a school for black people, which was the first to take part in a debate against a white college. (read more…)
